You decide how many of the tiles are mines before you start. A few mines is a long game with small steps. Load the board near the top of the range and a single safe pick pays a very large multiplier.
Every safe tile you turn over raises the multiplier, because there is one fewer safe tile left to find. The ladder above the board shows what you hold and what the next gem pays. You can stop and take the money after any pick. Hit a mine and the round is over and the bet is gone, and either way the whole board turns over so you see where every mine was.
The multiplier is the true odds of the picks you survived, less the house edge, applied once at the end rather than compounding per tile. Cashing out after one pick and cashing out after ten are worth the same to us, so there is no clever moment to stop. Pick the risk you actually want.
The mines are placed before your first click, by hashing the round's server seed against your client seed and the nonce. The seed hash is published before you bet. Rotate your seed to reveal the old one, then put the three values into the verifier and the same tiles come back out.
How many mines can I choose in Mines?
Pick a count from the row under the bet field, or type any count the game allows into the box beside it, from a single mine up to a grid that is nearly all mines. Fewer mines is a long game with small steps, more mines is a short one with a big multiplier, and the line under the row tells you what the first gem and a full clear pay at that count.
When can I cash out in Mines?
After any safe tile. The cash out key shows the exact amount you would bank, and it grows with every gem. Hit a mine and the round ends with the stake gone, so the whole decision is how many more tiles you want to turn.
Does Mines have autobet?
